Community Medical Service & Essential Drugs The CMS ED Course is also known as a diploma in community medical services and basic medications (CMS & ED). It is a diploma for general allopathic drugs that are used in primary healthcare and are advised by the World Health Organization (WHO).

Candidates who successfully complete the CMS & ED course will be eligible to use allopathic medications that the World Health Organization has approved for use in rural regions after opening a Primary Health Care Center (PHC Center) in a rural part of India. Moreover, jobs at both public and private hospitals. 18 Months (One Year for CMS AND Six Months for ED (Essential Drugs)) is the duration of the course. Any health care professional, including rural doctors, RHMP, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS, BEMS, BNYS, BPT, DPT, B.Pharma, D.Pharma, DNYS, and those with degrees or diplomas in alternative medicine, paramedicine, nursing, naturopathy, dentistry, etc., is eligible.
